| | Doors without Vent windows on an older cherokee I was wondering if anyone knew if the doors without the vent windows would fit onto an older cherokee. What year xj's have those doors?? I have an 87 cherokee wagoneer XJ. And am trying to make it look a little more modern. Thanks... |

| | Re: Doors without Vent windows on an older cherokee I know for a personal fact that the ddoors off of an 87 cherokee fit a 90 cherokee, don't know about any others. I swapped doors to get a wing window that would open, lamest thing they ever did was change that to a fixed window. As far as changing the looks of the vehicle, your a really funny person. The doors look IDENTICAL except that the wing window has the little latch in the lower corner. From 20 feet away you can't tell the difference. |

| | Re: Doors without Vent windows on an older cherokee Actually I was talking about the doors off the 97 and up's. They actually do not have a vent window. |

| | Re: Doors without Vent windows on an older cherokee Wouldn't it be easier to just get the glass/regulator/felt, and put it in your door? That way you wont have to deal with fit, alignment, and paint matching? |

| | Re: Doors without Vent windows on an older cherokee You might have to do some trimming to the inside of the door, brackets that hold up the wing type stuff. |
