Default Hole in windshield frame

Hi guys long time no post. My zuk has been running just fine since I stalled a new head gasket. The ice around there this week was hard on the zuk. I turned on my wippers and the passenger wipper pulled out from the windshield frame. I know they make plates to help this out but most adds say if its cracked only. Mine now has the wipper pulled out through the frame as there is rust all around it. My question is can I install just the new plates or do I have to get a new windshild frame??

I'd prolly go for a new frame if I were you. If it pulled out then the plate isn't gonna have much to attach to. Look around and try to find one or cut a piece of sheet metal (14 ga or thicker) to cover the whole bottom of your frame.

Glad to hear it's still running good, you wouldn't still have those instructions I sent you? I was gonna post 'um up on a page like Ack's or something for easy reference.

Brad.

Tanx to Sky-Manufacturing. They answered my e-mails fast and when I called they were friendly and more than happy to help me. I bought the wipper plates and so far wippers are working smoother than they did in the last year.
