are you sure your clutch is going out? your profile says it is a 2002... how many miles you have on it? when you are going about 10mph put it in third and hit the gas.. if the RPMS shoot up your clutch is slipping.. if not your good. If you are not going to larger tires in the near future i would order the stock unit.. they are great clutches..go to toyota of dallas online.. you can find the web sites on the TTORA forum and they will give you the best prices you can find. I am going to be getting a toyota car.. something that gets great MPG.. I have got a promotion so i am in charge of three TJ MAxx stores instead of one.. so ALOT of driving needs to be done.

What what what?!? Are you replacing it with a different toy? Going by the way of the sedan? Wassup?

I remember when you got that black beauty and left the other forum. You were so flippin' excited. Well, such is life but it still sucks...

yeah a damn sedan 4 door car that gets 35/40MPG. It will be new and I will pay for it with cash so that is nice to have no more payments. I will be driving over a 100miles a day so i need to do what is best for me and my truck.. she does not need that kind of wasted miles on her.. I already put enough stress on her with 35's 4.88's 7inchs of lift and the charger with upgrades. So I must do this. I would like to keep it and get a car.. but i still owe 9K on the truck. Just can't do it. yes such is life.. and it does suck really bad! IF anyone wants to dontate 9K to me so i can keep it that would be great! LOL

One of my wife's favorite store's Anyway back on topic, hate to hear about having to sell the truck but with the price of gas anymore I don't blame you for looking for something cheaper to drive. Just a suggestion but have you thought about finding a cheap beater just for work?? Maybe something a tax return can buy?(assuming you are getting a return )

yeah most women love that store.. just make sure you do not steal from there because you will get caught and not only civil sued but we will go the police and they will ticket you. just a little fyi for anyone who knows anyone who steals from stores.

oh and i got a tax return.. but i am a single white male who made over 25,000 so i only got $450 back total.. And the distance i am driving i need something that is not going to break down and cause me hundreds in towing and repairing.. and my time to do all that. But thanks for the idea. ANymore

Yep my clutch is slipping, I have 58,000 miles on her now but have ridden her very hard. I was getting on the interstate the other day in 3rd gear and floored it but all that happened was my rpm's went thru the roof and i could smell clutch, not the 1st time thats happend. Is a stock one good enough for the supercharger and 7th inj kit? Any way sorry about ur truck, I want a really fast car but cant part with my Taco. Will pay her off then get something. I would not buy brand new, get a pre owned certified toy. U work LP for TJ Max?
