Default 1978 Heater Core replacement/ manual recommends.

Howdy. I've got my mom's 1978 Dodge, 225 /6, no AC, 3 speed up in my garage to do some work. I need to replace the heater core, but the worthless manual I have doesn't cover it. It looks like it can be removed from inside the cab, by unbolting the plastic housing on the passenger side, but I don't want to just go tearing into things without knowing what I'm doing.
Anybody have any experience with this, or any tips or anything? Can anyone recommend a decent service manual?
thanks,

It's been too many years since I changed mine but it wasn't hard. Just remove the plastic housing cover (it's big as I remember) and take the heater core out. Should just take an hour or two at most.
