Suzuki kingquad Rad re-location
      #1554436 - Mon Jan 22 2007 11:11 AM

I'm looking to move the rad to the front rack because I ride a lot in deep mud. I've seen picture in magazines but am looking for some real advice on how to do it properly. It's an '06 so it would be a shame to do a hack job. Any tips or plans or ideas would be greatly appreciated

I just finished. Had a friend make me two brackets for the sides of the rad and one across the bottom. Bought new 3/4 inch flexible rad hose , cut it to fit, lengthened 2 wiring harnesses, simple splice, 2 wires each, that were attached to the rad. That's it. A lot of zip ties to minimize hose rub. HaHa, hose rub! Had to take a headlight assembly out to get the rad out. Easy. Lots of pics and guys to help at highlifter.com in the forums part. Did the CVT snorkel the same day. 2 out of 5 for difficulty. Any questions... sllim@shaw.ca
