Default lift kit, tires and rear gears HELP!!!

i am putting a 6 inch lift kit in my 02 1500 slt sport. i am looking at 37 13.50's on my stock 17 inch rims will there be clearance issues? do i need to keep it down to a 35 12.50?? it has the 4.7 in it i have done a dual exhaust, k&n tornado intake kit, throttle body spacer, low temp thermostat and a jet stage 2 hyper chip. will changing the rear gears to 5.29's help save fuel and power? or what would a better gear be? thanks justin jjones008@twcny.rr.com

better change the axles, as the 9.25" rear you have only allows for 4.88 gears, no company makes a numerically higher ratio that I know of.

If you do keep the 9.25, make sure the gears you buy will fit. I had to have the inside of the axle housing on my 05 ground down some so it would allow for proper lash adjustment.
