2 wheel drive v8 coversion

i have a 93 x-cab pick up that i just blew up i already have a 89 sr5 thats got a lift and 33's so i dont want to really make it a pre-runner i want to slam it down with a v8 but im told in order to put a v8 in i need at least 3 inches of lift can someone help me out point me inthe direction that i need to go to make this possible without lifting it anything will help me thanks alot

Sell that damn thing and get a 4 x 4 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] just my 50 cents
